Selling Wang Lee Hom's autograph CD

So this morning I went for an interview as telemarketer at Wisma Selangor Dredging. I don't think I would get the job because they would want a minimum of 3 months working while my semester break is only 2 months.

And what to do? My parents wouldn't allow me to work as promoter or roadshows because the working hours are till quite late at nights. They would prefer I work with friends so that petrol etc could be shared.

Haiz, work with friends? So difficult to find those who are willing to work together lah and also companies that would want many people at the same time. My granddad's company meh? Sometimes I just feel like giving up on looking for a job during this semester break. Mustwise just stay at home and rot whole day.

Job A > Too far
Job B > No Transport
Job C > No suitable parking space
Job D > Traffic jam

and many many more other reasons. HAIZ







Anyway, today had to go to mum's office first before going off to the interview.

My mum's office's interior design is nice and comfortable. She's a secretary by the way and I could tell that she is enjoying her work. Sadly she is going to retire by end of this year.




My interview was basically for telemarketer position. During the interview we were given a product to sell creatively and we were required to do play role. Seriously, of all the interviewee there, I feel that I am the most qualified. I am not bragging but seriously if you are opening a company, would you hire people who can't speak proper English?

Pleased pronounced as plea-sed
Event as a-vent
Congratulations as kong-ga-tulation
Benefit as bi-ni-fit
Immediately as i-mi-dit-ly, etc


And would you hire people who actually stop halfway and laughed at themselves while selling a product?

Okay have to stop already. Later people throw stones at me So after the interview I was hungry and I saw Subway on the ground floor. Decided to give it a try since Cecilia has been telling me how nice it is.




I bought Turkey Ham with Wheat Bread which cost RM9.90. I also saw the advert at the restaurant saying, "6 inch long." So to make sure I didn't get cheated, when I reached home, I did this.




Yup, I actually took a ruler to measure it. Good, 6 inch. Feeling satisfied and happy, I took my healthy snack to eat while I was reading the newspaper. And guess what I came across in the Star newspaper?
