4 years

Yup, it has been 4 years. No, this post is not about William and I but about good friends that I met in NS 2006. I remember on my first few days, I wanted to go back so badly that I called mum everyday and cried through the phone. After I met them, I didn't want to go back anymore. And looking back now, thanks to their existence that made me enjoy NS =)

We have always been meeting up with each other whenever we are free and never fail to do so for the past four years. Well, one thing good is we all stay nearby. Puchong-Bandar Utama-Kepong. Only Sheryl is a bit far. So Sheryl, if you are reading, WHEN ARE YOU COMING UP AGAIN? WE SERIOUSLY MISS YOU. 

And Mei Yang also which is currently in Russia pursuing her doctor ambition. A cute doctor to be!

Anyway, I met up with Janice and Li Jing last Thursdays at 1 Utama and as always a great time =)

Sparkling Retro Night 20/8/2010

Time really flies and it's my last fac night in UKM. Same place as last year; Metro Inn Kajang but the only thing different was that Pure Chemistry had no juniors. Still, we had lots of fun and then supper at MCD, Bangi. Haha

No More

After serving my family for 12 years, the dog finally left us at 11am this morning. Life has been really hard for it the past year. It was getting really old. It could not walk nor stand properly. It was losing it's appetite and getting skinnier day by day. Yesterday night was the most torturous for it and for me. It was howling and crying in pain whole night. I did ask God to take it away right now.Why want to put this little creature in such pain, dear God? The sound of the dog crying was just unbearable. I guess only God knows why. I just need to get use to the fact that the house will no longer have a dog around.

No more tail wagging everytime I come back.
No more cute faces to look at.
No more loud barking.
No more playing around in the garden.
No more hugs and kisses.
No more place to pour out my heart.
No more fur to touch.
No more manja-manja.
No more everything with Toto.

Goodbye, thanks for everything for the past 12 years.

This morning I went to school with CMC and Eng Lik@DuckBoy to collect our STPM certificate. Well, being back to Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Taman Ehsan (SMKTE) triggers a lot of memories, both good and bad. But as a conclusion, I am happy that I left school after 7 years there.

After lunch at our old-time favourite Sang Mee, we headed off to Jusco for a walk. DuckBoy and I was pestering CMC to have steamboat at his house and finally CMC gave in. This is the result of being too bored and have nothing to do.




Yeah, my all time favourite. The last time I had steamboat was in Muar, together with William's family and it was so much fun. Ehem, was multitasking at the same time. Eat then online then eat again then online. Haha =P




And not forget there was someone special also which I really miss her a lot. Thanks to her BoyF for bringing her here. All the way from Cheras was

I think the food was a bit too much for 7 people. Haha but we somehow managed to finish 98% of them. And to DuckBoy, please don't buy that fishball pumpkin anymore.

Well, another small gathering made happened. I really am grateful for all these small little gatherings. It is always fun to get together once again with friends. Once uni reopens, some would be in Kampar, Singapore, Johor, Penang, etc. Gathering makes us stay connected =)

After horse riding just now, I was all wet. Why? Because I had to bath the horse. No, not that I don't want to do it but once the coach asked who bath the horse before, everyone happily shouted my name. I thought someone else was suppose to learn how to bath the horse but instead it was me again. |those lazy malays|

Was suppose to happily pose for the camera but the coach saw & shouted, "Jenny! You bergambar ke mandikan kuda?" Ceh, the horse wasn't ready to bath also la. Make me look so retarded pulak in the end.

I do not know why this year's CNY seems to be a bit boring. As for me, I don't really have the CNY mood like others.

I miss the good old days. Reunion dinners would be in my house together with 4 families & Po Po. The kids would play firecrackers while the adults would play mahjung. I remember every CNY, Fat Uncle would bring lots of firecrackers to play.



Then on the 1st day, it's to Gong Gong's house in Segambut. Big makan & a little bit of gambling is a must but the most important is ANGPAUs! Next to Hartamas to visit Gong's sister, Gu Po & family. After that in the evening, everyone would proceed to my 5th aunt's condo in Wangsa Maju for more mahjung while the kiddies go swimming. We usually only return home at wee hours. |Gong is mum's side while Po Po is dad's. I know it's suppose to call Ma Ma but then I don't know why I was taught to call Po Po. So let it be then haha|







2nd day is off to Big Uncle's house in Cheras. More makan & gambling. Hee =p


But as time passes, things have changed. Gong's house has been sold, reunion dinner now are smaller in numbers, less bai nian trips & more missing faces during CNY.

Sometimes I envy those big families.
