UKM implemented a new KOK course which is Pengurusan Persatuan(PP). Last sem, we took PP I and therefore this sem PP II which has been incorporated with our SPKG. This is just forcing us to join residential college activities. Fine, it's okay, we accept it again.
Then, PP II also requires us to organize an activity such as trip, exhibition, dinner, camping and etc. Fine, accept this
Now, Pusat Perkembangan Pelajar(PPP) is telling us that UKM would not give any funds in organizing our activity. WHAT?!
If that is the case, then why even bother to make us organize activity? Can't we just go back to lectures where we don't have to forged out any money?
Oh by the way, I pay fees. So where does the fees for KOK go?!
UKM, you better answer me.

GOOD QUESTION!!!!
They actually expecting you to do the marketing to obtain funds. But where the money goes is unknown to me. Still, activity organizing is something you'll do in during your working life and learning it from here is not a bad thing per se.
Wee Chern > For the record, I do not mind finding sponsors. The thing is that I have pay fees. With the fees, at least UKM should be providing us some fund. If UKM does not provide us fund then where does the money go? To pay our lecturer? I think with the amount of student, there should be more than enough paying the lecturer and also providing us fund.
Administrative and support staffs, electric & water bills, maintenance of machinery, appliances, etc., research grants, costs for handling activities done by the administration of the university itself, and last but not least, storage. As far as I know, PPP's funds for sponsoring student's activities has been cut short to only 1 million Ringgit per year (not semester).
All those has nothing to do with PP. We have classes in our residental colleges.
